Akasa Air has announced updates to its international flight network after reviewing the evolving security situation in the Middle East as part of its ongoing safety evaluation process.
The airline continues to operate flights connecting Jeddah with several Indian cities, including Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Mumbai, Kochi, and Kozhikode. In addition, the carrier is gradually assessing the possibility of resuming services to and from Abu Dhabi.
Passengers can access flight information and make bookings through the airline’s official website or its mobile application available on Android and iOS platforms. The airline emphasized that current operations are subject to change depending on real-time safety assessments and prevailing regional conditions.
At the same time, flights to and from Doha, Riyadh, and Kuwait remain suspended until April 30, 2026. Akasa Air stated that it continues to monitor the situation closely and will update passengers if there are any changes to the status of these routes.
As part of its passenger support measures, the airline has extended its waiver on cancellation and rescheduling charges for bookings to or from the affected cities during the suspension period. Travellers are eligible for either a full refund to the original payment method within seven days or the option to reschedule their journey without additional fees. Passengers who booked through travel agents are advised to contact their respective partners for assistance.
The airline has also urged travellers to verify flight status before heading to the airport and provided round-the-clock customer support through its care centre.
Akasa Air reiterated that passenger and crew safety remains its top priority and expressed appreciation for customers’ patience and understanding during this period of operational adjustments.
