Qassim Municipality, through Uyun Al-Jiwa Municipality, is preparing Al-Marqab Mountain for development as an attractive tourist and social destination, drawing on its elevated location and natural and historical features.

The initiative aims to enhance the experience of residents and visitors while stimulating tourism activity in Uyun Al-Jiwa Governorate.

Eng. Falah Al-Jabreen, Chairman of Uyun Al-Jiwa Municipality, said the development forms part of efforts to improve historical and natural sites across the governorate.

He highlighted Al-Marqab Mountain’s elevated position and panoramic views of the surrounding natural landscape, which make it suitable for leisure and outdoor activities.

The mountain also holds historical significance for Uyun Al-Jiwa, having been used in the past as a surveillance point because of its strategic elevation.

Once developed, Al-Marqab is expected to provide visitors with opportunities to enjoy nature and scenic views while engaging in social and recreational activities, further supporting the governorate’s tourism potential.

Saudi Entertainment Ventures (SEVEN) continues to welcome visitors to SEVEN Tabuk, its second major entertainment destination in Saudi Arabia, developed with an investment of SAR1.4 billion.

Spanning more than 72,000 square meters, the destination brings together seven main entertainment zones under one roof, combining locally developed concepts with internationally recognized attractions targeting families and younger visitors.

SEVEN Chairman Abdullah Aldawood said the project is expected to attract around 1.65 million visits annually by 2030, supporting Tabuk’s emergence as a major tourism and leisure hub in northwestern Saudi Arabia.

The destination also features 26 retail and dining outlets, with their designs incorporating elements inspired by Tabuk’s local architecture and heritage.

SEVEN Tabuk operates from 4 p.m. to midnight on weekdays and until 1 a.m. on weekends, while its cinema screens operate daily until 3:30 a.m.

The development forms part of Saudi Arabia’s broader efforts to expand entertainment and tourism options across the Kingdom and provide residents and visitors with diverse leisure experiences outside major urban centers.
