flynas, the world’s leading low-cost carrier (LCC) and the Middle East’s Best LCC, has launched the Kingdom’s first dedicated “Kids & Family” check-in counters at King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah. The new service follows a similar rollout at Riyadh’s King Khalid International Airport, reinforcing flynas’s commitment to enhancing the travel experience for families and young passengers.
The brightly branded counters are designed to make family travel smoother and stress-free by reducing wait times and simplifying the check-in process. The initiative reflects flynas’s continued focus on customer-centric innovation and its goal of making air travel more convenient for all passengers.
Under the slogan “Make Them the Stars of the Journey,” the new service goes beyond efficiency. The counters feature child-height designs, colorful visuals of the airline’s mascot “Fernas,” and specially trained staff to assist families with strollers, child restraints, and additional baggage needs. Young travelers are also given customized boarding passes created just for them.
The initiative, part of flynas’s broader strategy to enhance inclusivity and service quality, aims to establish the airline as the preferred choice for family travel across the region. The carrier plans to expand the service to more domestic and international airports in the coming months.
Since its inception in 2007, flynas has grown into a global leader in low-cost aviation, operating more than 2,000 weekly flights across 139 routes to over 70 destinations in 30 countries. The airline has flown more than 80 million passengers and aims to expand to 165 destinations as part of its growth strategy aligned with Saudi Vision 2030.
