Singapore Airshow 2026 is poised to bring major traffic and transport changes as it gears up for one of Asia’s premier aerospace events. From late January through mid-February, visitors and travellers should plan ahead for road closures and revised public transport arrangements around the Changi Exhibition Centre to accommodate increased crowds and ensure smooth access to the show.
The biennial Singapore Airshow, set to run from Feb. 3 to 8 at Changi Exhibition Centre with more than 1,000 participants from about 50 countries, is expected to draw significant local and international interest. To support the influx of attendees, traffic measures and transit adjustments will be in effect from Jan. 26 until 6 a.m. on Feb. 12.
Several key roads around the venue will be closed to general traffic during this period. Affected routes include Changi Coast Road, Changi Ferry Road, Aviation Park Road, and Tanah Merah Coast Road, particularly during peak show days. These closures are aimed at improving traffic flow and safety near the exhibition centre during the build‑up and breakdown phases of the event.
As a result of the closures, bus service 35 will run a shortened loop between Bedok Interchange and Tanah Merah Coast Road, bypassing certain stops near the Airshow site. To fill gaps in connectivity, organisers are providing a free shuttle service between Airport Logistics Park of Singapore and Changi Village with buses running every 10–15 minutes during key hours.
In addition to these alternate bus arrangements, special shuttle services will operate from locations such as Singapore Expo, offering convenient travel options for both trade visitors and weekend public attendees.
Only vehicles with valid Singapore Airshow labels, taxis and private-hire vehicles will be permitted to enter the Changi Exhibition Centre perimeter during the main event dates. Designated drop-off and pick-up points will help manage traffic around the venue, and ride-hail services may operate from specified off-site locations with dedicated shuttle transfers.
Attendees using wheelchair-accessible transport will find dedicated services and parking available, while certain personal mobility devices are restricted in the event zone for safety reasons. As Singapore’s largest aerospace and defence showcase returns, early planning is advised for accommodation, transit connections and travel around the city during the Airshow period.
