Emirates has reinforced its commitment to youth empowerment and education in Jordan through its Aircrafted KIDS initiative, distributing 834 handcrafted backpacks and school supplies to four local organizations — SOS Children’s Villages, Madrasati Initiative, Jewels, and Al-Hussein Social Foundation Society.
The initiative aims to promote educational access and inspire young learners by providing essential learning tools. The backpacks, part of the airline’s upcycled Aircrafted by Emirates collection, are made by Emirates Engineering using over 50,000 kilograms of reclaimed materials from the airline’s retired Airbus A380 and Boeing 777 aircraft.

Mohammad Bin Hafiz, Emirates’ Country Manager for Jordan and West Bank, emphasized the airline’s long-standing relationship with the country:
“Education is a fundamental driver of progress, and through Aircrafted KIDS, we want to help children access the resources needed for a brighter future. Emirates has been part of Amman’s skies since 1986, and we take pride in contributing to the community alongside our operational growth.”
Tala Sweis, Director of Madrasati Initiative, said:
“Our partnership with Emirates goes beyond distributing schoolbags; it sends a message of hope, joy, and learning. These bags inspire students to dream bigger and take responsibility for their world.”

Similarly, Areej Khatib, Fund Development and Communications Director at SOS Children’s Villages, noted:
“A child’s school bag carries more than books—it holds the beginning of a dream and the first step toward a better future.”
The launch in Jordan is part of a wider Emirates program that has already benefited students in 10 countries, including Egypt, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Ethiopia, Bangladesh, Pakistan, and India. Through Aircrafted KIDS, Emirates extends its impact beyond air travel, using its global reach to invest in education and empower future generations.
