flynas, the world’s leading low-cost carrier and the top LCC in the Middle East, has announced the resumption of its direct flights between Jeddah and Kuwait, marking a significant milestone in enhancing air connectivity between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Kuwait.
The inaugural flight took off on Saturday, November 1, from King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah, following a ceremony attended by representatives from flynas and Jeddah Airports Company. Passengers on the inaugural journey to Kuwait were greeted with special giveaways to commemorate the occasion.
Under the renewed service, flynas will operate three weekly flights between Jeddah and Kuwait, complementing its existing daily Riyadh–Kuwait service. This expansion brings the airline’s total weekly flights between Saudi Arabia and Kuwait to ten.
The resumption aligns with flynas’ strategic growth plan, “We Connect the World to the Kingdom,” and supports the National Civil Aviation Strategy, which aims to connect Saudi Arabia with 250 international destinations, accommodate 330 million passengers, and attract 150 million tourists annually by 2030. It also contributes to the Pilgrims Experience Program (PEP), designed to facilitate access to the Two Holy Mosques.
The renewed Jeddah–Kuwait route is expected to bolster both business and leisure travel, reinforcing economic and tourism ties between the two nations while advancing Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 goals in aviation and tourism.
As the first airline listed on the Saudi Exchange (Tadawul), flynas currently operates 139 routes to over 70 domestic and international destinations across 30 countries, with more than 2,000 weekly flights. Since its launch in 2007, the carrier has served over 80 million passengers and continues its mission to expand to 165 destinations globally.
Travelers can book flynas flights via the airline’s website (www.flynas.com
