SalamAir, Oman’s low-cost carrier, has signed an agreement with Lagary to roll out ONE, an advanced digital operations platform designed to centralize and modernize the airline’s flight management processes. The move marks a significant step in SalamAir’s digital transformation as it prepares for further fleet and network expansion.
The ONE platform functions as a virtual operations office, offering a single sign-on system that integrates multiple aviation tools. These include the Navigation & Operational Flight Planning System (NavOne), Digital Documentation Management System (DocuOne), Electronic Reporting and Digital Forms (ONE Forms), and Hand-Over Tools (HOTs).
By consolidating these capabilities into one interface, the platform enables pilots and operational teams to manage global flight activities with real-time data, seamless information flow, and completely paperless functionality.
The system also integrates smoothly with existing IT infrastructure, supporting efficient handling of dispatch information, journey logs, operational documentation, and reporting requirements.
Salim Al Khatri, Director of Flight Operations at SalamAir, said the adoption of ONE represents a major shift in the airline’s operational approach. The platform has streamlined our workflows, eliminated paper from the cockpit, and improved the data visibility needed for smarter and faster decision-making, he said. As our fleet and network continue to grow, having a unified digital system like ONE is essential to maintaining operational reliability and efficiency.
Lagary’s Operations Project Manager, Maurisio Fernández, highlighted that SalamAir’s decision reflects its commitment to innovation and operational excellence. ONE is built to simplify workflows, enhance real-time coordination, and empower flight crews with all the tools they need in a single system,” he said. “We are proud to support SalamAir on its digital transformation journey.
The agreement strengthens SalamAir’s position as one of the region’s most forward-thinking low-cost carriers, aligning with industry trends toward smarter, more automated aviation operations.
