Flynas, the Middle East’s leading low-cost carrier, has announced the launch of direct flights between Jeddah and Entebbe, Uganda, starting March 24, 2026. The new service will further enhance the airline's growing international network, offering more travel options to East Africa as part of its continued expansion strategy.
The airline will operate three weekly flights between Jeddah and Entebbe, complementing its existing five weekly flights between Riyadh and Entebbe. This brings the total number of weekly flights between Saudi Arabia and Uganda to eight, increasing travel options for passengers heading to Uganda.
Flynas’ expansion into East Africa follows the airline's recent launch of direct flights between Riyadh and Nairobi, marking it as the first Saudi airline to operate direct flights between the two capitals.
In addition to its new Jeddah-Entebbe route, Flynas already operates direct flights to key East African destinations such as Addis Ababa, Asmara, and Djibouti, reinforcing its commitment to providing affordable and convenient connections to this rapidly growing market.
This expansion aligns with Flynas’ "We Connect the World to the Kingdom" strategy and supports the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s National Civil Aviation Strategy. The strategy aims to connect Saudi Arabia with 250 international destinations, accommodate 330 million passengers annually, and host 150 million tourists by 2030.
Additionally, Flynas' expansion contributes to the Pilgrims Experience Program (PEP), which facilitates access to the Two Holy Mosques for pilgrims.
Passengers can easily book their flights through Flynas’ website, mobile app, call center (920001234), or travel agents for a seamless booking experience.
