Emirates will expand its Dubai–Manila route with four additional weekly flights starting April 2, 2026, increasing travel options for UAE residents, overseas Filipino workers (OFWs), and business travelers flying between the UAE and the Philippines.
The extra services will operate on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. Under the schedule, EK330 will depart Dubai at 12:45 and arrive in Manila at 01:25 the following day. The return flight, EK331, will leave Manila at 03:25 and land in Dubai at 08:25.
With the new frequencies, Emirates’ total weekly flights to the Philippines will rise from 28 to 34, reinforcing the airline’s long-standing presence in the market.
Boeing 777-300ER to serve the expanded schedule
Emirates said the route will be operated by the Boeing 777-300ER, offering 8 First Class private suites, 42 Business Class lie-flat seats, and 304 Economy Class seats—adding more availability across all cabin classes.
The airline expects the added flights to help manage peak-season demand while improving onward connectivity through Dubai for passengers traveling to Europe, North America, and the Middle East. Emirates noted that travelers departing Manila could benefit from shorter connection times to destinations in Canada and the United States, as well as several European cities including Milan, London, Budapest, and Athens.
Emirates also said the schedule supports the large Filipino community living and working across multiple countries, including the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Italy, Spain, the US, Kuwait, Germany, France, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Turkey, Portugal, and South Africa.
Onboard, passengers will continue to receive Emirates’ standard long-haul experience, including regionally inspired meals and the airline’s ice entertainment platform featuring over 6,500 channels in more than 40 languages, including Tagalog.
Added flights bring more cargo capacity
Beyond passenger demand, the airline said the additional frequencies will also increase cargo uplift. Each Boeing 777-300ER can carry up to 20 tonnes of bellyhold cargo, even on full passenger flights. The expanded schedule is expected to strengthen cargo capacity between Dubai and Manila, supporting trade and logistics flows connecting the UAE and the Philippines with Europe, the US, and the Indian subcontinent.
The announcement follows the signing of a Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) between the UAE and the Philippines, aimed at deepening trade ties and broader economic cooperation.
More than three decades in the Philippines
Emirates began operating flights to Manila in 1990, later adding services to Cebu and Clark. Through its partnership with Philippine Airlines, Emirates also offers onward connections to several domestic destinations in the Philippines with through-check baggage services.
The airline also recently opened its first Emirates World Store in Southeast Asia in central Manila, providing an in-person space for customers to explore cabin products and travel services.
