Saudi Arabia’s budget airline flyadeal is expanding its operations from Prince Mohammad bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Madinah by introducing three new domestic routes beginning March 1, 2026.
The upcoming services will link Madinah with Jazan, Qassim, and Arar, increasing the airline’s total number of direct destinations served from the city to 10.
The new routes will complement flyadeal’s existing Madinah network, which already includes Abha, Al Hofuf, Dammam, Riyadh, Tabuk, Cairo, and Istanbul. With the additional services, the carrier will operate 94 weekly flights to and from Madinah using Airbus A320 aircraft configured with 186 Economy Class seats.
flyadeal Chief Executive Officer Steven Greenway said the airline established Madinah as its fourth operational base in Saudi Arabia two months ago, aiming to enhance travel connectivity to and from the Holy City.
According to Greenway, the airline had already increased its capacity by 40 percent following the launch of the base. The introduction of the three new routes further strengthens the airline’s network, bringing the total to 10 domestic and international destinations served from Madinah.
He added that the expansion reflects flyadeal’s continued commitment to offering passengers more travel options and improving connectivity across Saudi Arabia and beyond.
