King Khalid International Airport (KKIA) in Riyadh will begin a phased transition of terminal operations from February 16 to 25, 2026, marking what officials describe as the largest operational transformation in the airport’s history.
Over the 10-day period, both international and domestic flights will gradually move to new terminals. The transition will affect flights operated by Saudia, flynas, flyadeal, and several international airlines. Airport officials say the move aims to ease passenger flow, boost efficiency, and improve long-term service quality.
Passengers are urged to double-check their flight details and terminal assignments before traveling to avoid confusion during the changes.
Key transition dates

February 16: International flights operated by flyadeal departing after 12:00 a.m. will move to Terminal 1.

February 17: Saudia’s international flights departing after 3:00 a.m. will shift to Terminal 2.
