SalamAir, Oman’s low-cost carrier, has shared its On-Time Performance (OTP) results for the fourth quarter of 2025, reinforcing its focus on reliability, transparency, and passenger satisfaction. OTP, a widely recognized measure of punctuality, tracks the percentage of flights that depart within 15 minutes of their scheduled time.
During the final quarter of 2025, SalamAir operated 5,766 flights, carrying 839,630 passengers, and achieved an OTP of 77.5%. The quarter presented a mix of operational and weather-related challenges across the network. Despite these factors, the airline maintained a strong overall OTP of 81.3% for the year.
These results reflect SalamAir’s ability to provide consistent service while managing a busy flight schedule across multiple destinations. The airline continues to strengthen its operational resilience through improved planning, enhanced processes, and close collaboration among teams to support reliability as its network expands.
Adrian Hamilton-Manns, Chief Executive Officer of SalamAir, commented:
“On-time performance is a key measure of how well we deliver our service to passengers. Operating nearly 5,800 flights and serving over 839,000 travelers in just one quarter highlights both the scale of our operations and the dedication of our teams. We remain committed to improving reliability and operational efficiency as we continue to grow.”
Since the third quarter of 2024, SalamAir has been publishing OTP results every quarter, demonstrating its commitment to accountability and transparency. This practice helps travelers make informed choices while setting a benchmark for operational reporting in the regional aviation industry.
The Q4 2025 results coincide with SalamAir’s ongoing expansion plans, including growing its fleet to 15 aircraft and launching new routes to Nairobi, Vienna, Sharjah, Port Sudan, Beirut, Damascus, Medan, and Abha. Backed by investments in fleet, technology, and workforce, the airline aims to deliver affordable, dependable, and customer-focused travel, while laying the foundation for sustainable growth in alignment with Oman Vision 2040.
