King Saud bin Abdulaziz Airport in Saudi Arabia's Al Baha Region has handled nearly 700,000 domestic passengers between the beginning of 2025 and the end of the first half of 2026, underscoring continued growth in regional air travel.
Operated by Cluster2 Airports, the airport has also strengthened its international standing through a series of operational achievements, according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
Among its latest recognitions, the airport received the Level 1 Accessibility Enhancement Accreditation from Airports Council International (ACI), acknowledging its efforts to improve accessibility for passengers.
In addition, King Saud Airport was awarded the Level 2 Airport Customer Experience Accreditation by ACI, reflecting its commitment to enhancing service quality and improving the overall passenger experience.
The dual accreditations highlight the airport's continued focus on operational excellence as it expands its role in supporting domestic connectivity and regional aviation growth.
