Qatar Airways has temporarily suspended its scheduled flight operations following the closure of Qatari airspace.
The airline said services will resume once the Qatar Civil Aviation Authority confirms that the airspace has been safely reopened. An additional update is expected by 09:00 Doha time (06:00 UTC) on 6 March.
The carrier thanked passengers for their understanding as the disruption continues.
Booking Assistance
Passengers holding confirmed tickets for travel between 28 February and 15 March 2026 are entitled to flexible rebooking options. These include a one-time complimentary change of travel date within 14 days of the original departure date or a refund for the unused portion of the ticket.
Qatar Airways noted that its contact centres are currently handling a high volume of calls, which may result in extended waiting times. Customers are advised to contact the airline only if their scheduled departure is within the next 48 hours.
Travellers with later departure dates are encouraged to manage their reservations through the airline’s website, qatarairways.com, or via the Qatar Airways mobile application. The airline also advised passengers to verify that their contact details are current to ensure they receive timely notifications.
Customers who booked through a travel agency or third-party platform should seek assistance directly from their booking provider.
