Qatar Airways will begin operating a limited number of relief flights from 05 March to support passengers stranded due to the ongoing closure of Qatari airspace. These flights will connect Muscat to London Heathrow, Berlin, Copenhagen, Madrid, Rome, and Amsterdam, as well as Riyadh to Frankfurt.
Passengers are advised not to proceed to the airport unless they have received official notification from Qatar Airways regarding these flights. The airline will directly contact affected travelers with their assigned flight details and travel instructions.
As for regular services, Qatar Airways will resume operations once the Qatar Civil Aviation Authority confirms the safe reopening of Qatari airspace. A further update will be provided on 06 March by 09:00 Doha time (06:00 UTC).
Travelers are urged to ensure their contact information is up to date to receive timely flight updates. Passengers can update their details on the Qatar Airways website or mobile app.
Qatar Airways continues to monitor the situation closely and will provide further updates as soon as they become available. The safety and well-being of its passengers and crew remain the airline’s highest priority. Qatar Airways apologizes for the disruption caused and appreciates the patience of its customers during this time.
