flynas, the world’s leading low-cost carrier and the Middle East’s best LCC, has taken delivery of its 60th Airbus A320neo aircraft as part of its ongoing fleet expansion strategy. The new addition reinforces the airline’s growth plan titled “We Connect the World to the Kingdom”, which aligns with Saudi Arabia’s National Civil Aviation Strategy and Vision 2030 objectives.
The arrival of the latest A320neo raises the number of next-generation models to 60 within flynas’ all-Airbus fleet, which now totals 66 aircraft, including four A320ceos and two A330neos.
flynas aims to grow its fleet to 160 aircraft by 2030 and expand its network from over 70 destinations to 165 across 300 routes. Since 2018, the airline has placed orders for 280 Airbus aircraft—one of the largest single-aisle purchase agreements in the region.
The expansion supports Saudi Arabia’s target of connecting the Kingdom to 250 international destinations, accommodating 330 million passengers, and hosting 150 million tourists annually by 2030, in line with the Pilgrims Experience Program to facilitate access to the Two Holy Mosques.
