Riyadh, Saudi Arabia: Riyadh Air has signed a global distribution partnership with Spain’s Amadeus Travel Platform to connect with travel agents across more than 190 countries, marking another milestone ahead of the airline’s 2025 launch.
Under the agreement, Amadeus will distribute Riyadh Air’s future New Distribution Capability (NDC) content, enabling the airline to deliver more personalized travel offers and improved sales control.
The partnership positions Riyadh Air—Saudi Arabia’s newest national carrier as a key player in the Kingdom’s aviation transformation, aligning closely with Saudi Vision 2030 goals to diversify the economy and boost tourism.
Expanding Global Distribution
Through Amadeus’s extensive travel network, Riyadh Air will gain access to one of the largest pools of travel agents worldwide, significantly enhancing its global visibility. The integration will also allow Riyadh Air to optimize its indirect sales strategy and strengthen its retailing capabilities.

Amadeus’s advanced data and retailing technologies will help Riyadh Air deliver more dynamic, customer-centric travel experiences. Travelers can expect flexible offers, seamless booking processes, and enhanced support services.
Supporting Saudi Vision 2030
Riyadh Air plans to connect more than 100 destinations by 2030, supporting the Kingdom’s tourism targets and contributing an estimated USD 20 billion to Saudi Arabia’s non-oil GDP while creating over 200,000 direct and indirect jobs.
A Broader Expansion Strategy
The Amadeus deal joins a series of high-profile partnerships Riyadh Air has signed with global aviation and technology leaders. Recent collaborations include agreements with Delta Air Lines, Turkish Airlines, Air France–KLM, and Virgin Atlantic, alongside alliances with Noon Payments, Lucid Motors, and LIV Golf.
Riyadh Air, backed by Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund (PIF), has also ordered 50 Airbus A350-1000 aircraft and unveiled its luxurious Boeing 787 cabin interiors. The airline has secured its Air Operator Certificate (AOC) and is preparing for its official debut in 2025, aiming to redefine premium air travel and position Riyadh as a global aviation hub.
