Oman Air marked a significant milestone in its international journey with the arrival of a new Boeing 737 aircraft featuring the distinctive oneworld livery, symbolizing the airline’s growing global footprint and alliance partnership.
To commemorate the event, Oman Air hosted a creative collaboration between Omani artists Al-Warith Al Housni and Afrah Al Mamari — a fusion of art and aviation that reflects the spirit of movement, imagination, and connection.
Al-Warith, known for his surreal, hand-drawn depictions that merge fantasy with reality, described the project as an exploration of freedom through creativity. His detailed, dreamlike illustrations invite viewers to discover new dimensions within the familiar. Afrah’s work, characterized by expressive textures and bold colors, complements this vision with vibrant interpretations of possibility and flight.
Their artworks were unveiled across Oman Air’s digital platforms, celebrating the aircraft’s debut while highlighting the rich depth of Omani artistic talent.
Oman Air officially joined the oneworld alliance in June 2025, becoming its 15th member. The new Boeing 737 — adorned in the alliance’s iconic design — serves as both a visual representation of global connectivity and a tribute to Omani creativity, carrying the nation’s artistic spirit across more than 900 destinations worldwide.
