Air Arabia has taken a significant step in expanding its operations from the northern emirate hub by introducing its inaugural non-stop flight service between Ras Al Khaimah and Kazan. This new route enhances the connectivity between the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Russia, marking another milestone in the airline's growing presence in international markets.
The launch of this direct weekly service was celebrated at Ras Al Khaimah International Airport with an official ceremony attended by representatives from Air Arabia and airport officials. The new route offers passengers a direct and cost-effective travel option, further cementing Air Arabia's commitment to strengthening ties between the UAE and Russia.
Adel Al Ali, Group Chief Executive Officer of Air Arabia, expressed enthusiasm about the new route, stating, “The launch of our new service between Ras Al Khaimah and Kazan further strengthens Air Arabia’s presence in the Russian market. This new route underscores our commitment to offering customers affordable and reliable air travel while supporting Ras Al Khaimah’s continued growth as a key hub for tourism and trade.”
The Kazan route is now the third Russian destination served by Air Arabia from Ras Al Khaimah, alongside Moscow and Yekaterinburg. This expansion highlights the increasing demand for leisure and business travel between the UAE and Russian cities, as well as Ras Al Khaimah’s rising profile as an attractive destination for tourism and investment.
Air Arabia's strategic move aligns with its mission to enhance Ras Al Khaimah’s role as an international aviation gateway. The airline is focused on expanding its network to provide travelers with more affordable and direct connections across the Middle East, Asia, and Europe. As the UAE’s only listed low-cost carrier, Air Arabia operates from five hubs Sharjah, Abu Dhabi, Ras Al Khaimah, Alexandria, and Casablanca and serves over 190 routes worldwide.
The latest addition of the Kazan route, connecting with one of Russia’s oldest and most dynamic cities, contributes to the strengthening air links between the two countries and reflects the robust tourism and trade relations between the UAE and Russia.
