SalamAir has taken a major step forward in its digital transformation strategy, signing an agreement with Lagary to implement ONE—an advanced, integrated digital operations platform—across the airline’s expanding fleet.
The new ONE platform serves as a unified, single sign-on ecosystem combining several essential aviation tools, including the Navigation & Operational Flight Planning System (NavOne), Digital Documentation Management System (DocuOne), Electronic Reporting & Digital Forms (ONE Forms), and Hand-Over Tools (HOTs).
Functioning as a virtual operations office, ONE enables pilots and operational teams to manage global flight activities through one central online portal. The system supports seamless data flow, real-time updates, enhanced reporting, and fully paperless cockpit operations.
Designed to integrate smoothly with SalamAir’s existing infrastructure, the platform streamlines dispatch processes, journey logs, documentation management, and operational reporting—significantly boosting efficiency and workflow reliability.
Salim Al Khatri, Director of Flight Operations at SalamAir, said the adoption of ONE marks a pivotal shift in the airline’s operational ecosystem.
ONE has transformed our workflow by eliminating paper from the cockpit, improving data visibility, and enabling faster decision-making. With our fleet and network expanding, a unified digital system has become essential to maintaining operational reliability and efficiency, he said.
Lagary’s Operations Project Manager, Maurisio Fernández, highlighted SalamAir’s forward-looking approach.
We’re proud to support SalamAir’s digital transformation. ONE simplifies workflows, enhances real-time coordination, and equips flight crews with all essential tools on a single platform. We look forward to helping SalamAir build a smarter, more efficient operation, Fernández added.
The partnership aligns with SalamAir’s long-term strategy to modernize its operations, optimize efficiency, and strengthen its position as Oman’s leading low-cost carrier.
