Emirates is set to upgrade its Montréal–Dubai service with the introduction of the Airbus A350 from 1 February 2026, replacing the Boeing 777 currently operating the daily flights. The move marks a significant milestone for Canadian travellers, as it brings Emirates’ Premium Economy cabin to Canada for the first time—a key enhancement aimed at boosting comfort and long-haul travel appeal.
The new A350 configuration features three cabin classes, designed with the airline’s latest interior styling and advanced onboard technology. The aircraft will offer:
- 32 Business Class seats in a 1-2-1 layout
- 28 Premium Economy seats, debuting in the Canadian market
- 238 Economy Class seats
The upgraded service will continue to operate daily as EK243 and EK244, following the schedule below (local times):
- EK243: Departs Dubai at 02:45, arrives in Montréal at 07:35
- EK244: Departs Montréal at 10:40, arrives in Dubai at 08:00 the following day
Emirates also maintains its popular A380 service on the Toronto route. Passengers travelling via Montréal and Toronto can connect onward to 37 destinations across Canada and the United States through the airline’s codeshare partnership with Air Canada.
Bookings for the A350 service are now open across all Emirates channels, including emirates.com, the mobile app, retail outlets, the contact centre and authorised travel agencies. The airline added that the A350 could enter service earlier than planned if aircraft deliveries progress ahead of schedule.
