Etihad Airways has secured its place among the world’s leading airlines, earning an impressive overall score of 8.07 out of 10 in the 2025 AirHelp Score and rising nine positions compared with last year. The result marks one of the airline’s strongest performances to date.
The AirHelp Score—widely considered one of the most reliable global airline rankings—assesses carriers based on three equally weighted categories: on-time performance, customer opinion, and claim processing. The 2025 ranking draws from flight data collected between 1 October 2024 and 30 September 2025, as well as passenger surveys from more than 11,500 travelers across 60+ countries.
Etihad CEO Antonoaldo Neves praised the achievement, noting that rising into the world’s top two airlines reflects the carrier’s commitment to operational excellence and customer experience.
“While rapidly growing our network, fleet and guest numbers, we have stayed laser-focused on what truly matters: getting our guests there on time, delivering thoughtful hospitality, and supporting them when plans change,” he said. “This ranking is proud recognition for every single member of our team.”
AirHelp CEO Tomasz Pawliszyn also highlighted the significance of Etihad’s sharp rise, calling it a testament to the airline’s dedication to reliability and passenger satisfaction.
“Climbing nine places in a single year shows Etihad’s strong commitment to modern traveler expectations—honesty, accountability and performance,” he said.
