Qatar Executive, the private jet charter arm of Qatar Airways Group, is set to become one of the most connected operators in business aviation, with plans to equip its entire Gulfstream and Bombardier fleet with Starlink inflight internet by early 2026.
The upgrade will see every Gulfstream and Bombardier aircraft type operated by Qatar Executive fitted with Starlink’s ultra-high-speed, low-latency satellite connectivity, giving passengers an onboard experience closer to being on the ground – whether working, streaming, or staying in touch.
Qatar Executive has already rolled out Starlink on around half of its Gulfstream G650ER fleet and across all Bombardier Global 5000 jets. Installations are being carried out in-house by Qatar Executive’s own technical teams, with the remaining G650ERs and the entire new Gulfstream G700 fleet scheduled to be completed by early 2026.
Qatar Airways Group Chief Executive Officer, Engr. Badr Mohammed Al-Meer, said the initiative reflects the Group’s drive to continually raise standards in premium and private travel. He noted that fitting the full ultra-long-range fleet with Starlink – and doing so using internal expertise – positions Qatar Executive at the forefront of inflight connectivity and customer experience, offering a service that “truly feels like a home in the sky.”
By combining fleet-wide high-speed internet with its tailored cabin service, Qatar Executive aims to deliver an exclusive, seamless experience for high-end travellers and business clients, while strengthening synergies across the wider Qatar Airways Group.
