Etihad Airways carried 2.1 million passengers in November 2025, a 28% year-on-year increase and the airline’s strongest monthly traffic result so far this year.
The Abu Dhabi-based carrier posted an 89% passenger load factor for the month, reflecting continued strong demand. Over the first 11 months of 2025, Etihad flew 20.2 million passengers—up 20% compared with the same period in 2024—while maintaining an average load factor of 88%.
Network growth also supported the surge, with Etihad launching new services to Tunis, Hanoi, Chiang Mai, Hong Kong, and Madinah during November, boosting inbound travel options to Abu Dhabi.
Etihad said fleet expansion remains a key pillar of its strategy. By the end of November, the airline’s fleet reached 124 aircraft, up from 98 a year earlier. Four Airbus A321LRs were added during the month, increasing capacity as the carrier continues to scale.
CEO Antonoaldo Neves credited the performance to sustained network development, product investment, and disciplined execution, adding that the airline is maintaining high load factors even as it adds significant capacity heading into the final month of 2025.
