Air Arabia has launched its first-ever direct route from Sharjah to Munich, connecting the UAE to Germany with daily non-stop flights. The new service, operated by the airline’s state-of-the-art Airbus A320neo, offers enhanced comfort and convenience for passengers traveling between the two cities.
The inaugural flight was celebrated with a special ceremony at Munich Airport, attended by senior representatives from both Air Arabia and the airport.
Adel Al Ali, Group Chief Executive Officer of Air Arabia, commented on the significance of the launch, saying, “We are pleased to introduce this new non-stop service to Munich, which further expands our growing European network. This route marks a key addition, providing our customers with more choice and convenience when traveling between the UAE and Germany.”
He added, “Munich is a major cultural and economic hub, and we are excited to offer a reliable, value-added travel experience on this direct route.”
Oliver Dersch, Senior Vice President of Aviation at Munich Airport, also welcomed the new service, noting, “The launch of the Munich-Sharjah route by Air Arabia significantly enhances travel options for passengers and reinforces Munich’s role as a key gateway between the GCC and Europe.”

The carrier now serves a variety of popular European destinations from the UAE, including Vienna, Athens, Milan Bergamo, Krakow, and Warsaw Chopin, with more destinations like Warsaw Modlin and Prague coming soon.
Air Arabia operates a modern fleet of Airbus A320 and A321 aircraft, providing a high-value travel experience with features like the “SkyTime” in-flight streaming service, the “SkyCafe” onboard menu, and the “Air Rewards” loyalty program, which offers generous benefits for frequent travelers.
