flynas has launched a dedicated “Kids & Family” check-in counter at King Fahd International Airport (Dammam), extending a service designed to make airport procedures easier for passengers travelling with children.
The low-cost carrier said the new, brightly branded counters aim to streamline check-in for families by reducing queue time and creating a calmer start to the journey. The airline described the rollout as part of its customer-focused service upgrades, responding to demand for smoother airport experiences for parents and young travellers.
The initiative was first introduced in Saudi Arabia in July at King Khalid International Airport (Riyadh), before expanding to King Abdulaziz International Airport (Jeddah) in October. Dammam is the latest airport to add the dedicated family service.
Branded under the slogan “Make Them the Stars of the Journey,” the check-in area includes child-height counters with colourful visuals featuring the flynas mascot, Fernas. flynas said staff at the counters are specially trained to assist families with items such as strollers, child restraints and additional baggage often associated with travel with infants. Children also receive custom-designed boarding passes.
flynas said the service supports its broader push to strengthen its position as a preferred low-cost option for family travel across the region.
