Thai Airways and Thai lifestyle brand Jim Thompson are extending their partnership into a third year, unveiling a new in-flight collection set to launch in January 2026. The updated range includes 14 new amenity kit prints and marks the debut of THAI’s first Royal Silk Class Comfort Wear, designed to bring more Thai cultural identity into the premium cabin experience.
Kittiphong Sansomboon, Thai Airways’ Chief Commercial Officer, said the collaboration reflects the airline’s effort to elevate onboard service while sharing “authentic Thai identity” globally, with sustainability as a key focus. Jim Thompson Group CEO Frank Cancelloni said the new collection is designed to enhance the passenger journey through fabrics and designs inspired by Thailand’s heritage.
The 2026 lineup introduces 14 new amenity bag designs influenced by Thai culture and nature. Among the exclusive prints are House on the Klong, Orchids Bunch, Elephant Legacy, and Stamp Siam.
The amenity kits will be offered on Royal Silk Class international routes longer than 3 hours and 30 minutes, with exceptions including Milan, Paris, Tokyo, Shanghai.
For the first time, Royal Silk Class passengers on European routes will receive long-sleeve comfort wear featuring Jim Thompson’s signature Origami Elephant motif—positioned as a new premium touch for longer-haul travel.
Both brands say the collection prioritizes sustainability through eco-friendly fabrics, biodegradable items, and more sustainable packaging, aligning the collaboration with greener travel and service practices.
The 2026 Jim Thompson x Thai Airways collection invites passengers to “Live the Story” of Thai culture throughout the journey.
