Air Arabia, the largest budget carrier in the Middle East and North Africa, has officially launched a new service to Warsaw Modlin Airport, further strengthening its presence in Poland.
The inaugural flight departed from Sharjah International Airport on December 20, 2025, and was met with a special ceremony upon arrival at Warsaw Modlin, attended by senior representatives from both Air Arabia and the airport.
This new route complements Air Arabia’s existing daily service to Warsaw Chopin Airport, providing travelers with convenient access to both of Warsaw’s major airports. In addition, the airline operates 10 non-stop flights per week between Sharjah and Krakow. With all three routes now in operation, Air Arabia offers a total of 24 weekly flights connecting the UAE and Poland.
Adel Al Ali, Group CEO of Air Arabia, commented on the launch, saying, “Our expanded footprint in Poland is a testament to our long-term commitment to strengthening connectivity with key European markets.
By serving both Warsaw airports and Krakow, we’re providing our passengers with more choices and reliable, affordable travel options between the UAE and Poland. This expansion supports our mission to foster tourism, business, and cultural exchange between the two countries.”
Jacek Kowalski, President of the Management Board of Warsaw Airport, added, “The launch of Air Arabia’s daily flights to Sharjah is a significant milestone in the development of our route network.
It provides convenient access for passengers from the Mazovia region and northern Poland to one of the most dynamic regions of the Middle East. Our collaboration with Air Arabia highlights the growing appeal of Warsaw/Modlin Airport for international carriers.”
The launch of Warsaw Modlin is part of Air Arabia’s broader European expansion. From Sharjah, the airline now serves key destinations such as Munich, Vienna, Athens, Milan Bergamo, Krakow, Warsaw Chopin, Warsaw Modlin, and Prague, offering travelers enhanced connectivity and more options across Europe.
Air Arabia operates a modern fleet of Airbus A320 and A321 aircraft, featuring state-of-the-art amenities. The airline also provides a value-added onboard experience with ‘SkyTime’, its free in-flight streaming service, and ‘SkyCafe’, its onboard dining menu. Passengers can also benefit from ‘Air Rewards’, the region’s most generous loyalty program.
