Saudi low-cost carrier flynas has partnered with the Saudi Boccia Federation as the official airline carrier for the Elite Boccia Championship, held at the Green Sports Halls in Dammam under the patronage of Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Governor of the Eastern Province.
The airline said the partnership reflects its wider focus on supporting initiatives with lasting social impact, while aligning with Saudi Vision 2030 goals tied to inclusion, community development, and stronger collaboration between the public and private sectors.
The Saudi Boccia Federation aims to expand the sport’s reach across the Kingdom and raise performance standards at regional and global levels. The Dammam championship brought together elite clubs for persons with disabilities from around Saudi Arabia, highlighting the growing profile of adaptive sports on the national calendar.
Boccia is a precision ball sport played on a rectangular court and is designed to support athletes with physical disabilities. It has been part of the Paralympic Games since 1984, making it one of the most established competitive disciplines in para-sport.
