Emirates, the world’s largest international airline and a longstanding supporter of global tennis, has introduced a striking new Airbus A380 livery dedicated to the sport. The bespoke design marks the airline’s continued commitment to tennis through its sponsorship of all four Grand Slam tournaments.
As an official partner of the Australian Open, Roland-Garros, Wimbledon, and the US Open, Emirates has brought together the distinct identities of each major event in this unique creation.
The livery features dynamic tennis-inspired artwork, with each tournament’s logo encased within a tennis ball motif and illustrated in its signature colors — the vivid summer blue of the Australian Open, the iconic red-clay hue of Roland-Garros, Wimbledon’s green and purple palette, and the bold yellow and blue of the US Open.
The themed aircraft will operate on international routes including Houston and São Paulo, allowing aviation enthusiasts and tennis fans alike to experience the special livery in cities around the world. The first flight featuring the design touched down in Melbourne, Australia, to coincide with the start of the year’s inaugural Grand Slam, the Australian Open. Emirates plans to keep the special edition livery in its fleet for several years.
Expanding its global sports sponsorships
Emirates’ diverse sponsorship portfolio continues to bring people together through shared passions in sport and culture. Within tennis, the airline’s partnerships span all four Grand Slams as well as high-profile ATP and WTA events, including the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships.
Beyond tennis, the airline’s global reach extends across multiple sports — from horse racing with the Dubai World Cup and Team Godolphin, to golf through the DP World Tour, and cricket via sponsorship of all major ICC events, the ICC Elite Umpires Panel, and Lancashire County Cricket Club.
Emirates also partners with leading teams in sailing (Emirates Team New Zealand, SailGP, and Emirates Great Britain SailGP), basketball (NBA, Real Madrid, and Beirut Basketball Club), cycling (UAE Team Emirates XRG), and Australian Rules Football (Collingwood FC).
In football, Emirates’ “Fly Better” branding is prominently displayed on the kits of powerhouse clubs such as Arsenal FC, Real Madrid CF, AC Milan, S.L. Benfica, and Olympique Lyonnais.
The airline also serves as Platinum Partner of FC Bayern Munich and has held the title sponsorship of The FA Cup for nearly a decade. In the UAE, Emirates supports the Pro League and features on Al Ain FC’s training kit for the 2025–2026 season.
