Emirates has unveiled a new round of leadership appointments across several of its key international markets, underscoring the airline’s ongoing commitment to developing and empowering Emirati talent to lead its global operations. The changes, which take effect on 1 February 2026, reflect the airline’s continued investment in cultivating a robust pipeline of future leaders from the UAE.
Under the new structure:

Majid Al Falasi, currently serving as Manager Vietnam, will transition to the role of Manager Indonesia.
-
Wahid Albalooshi, District Manager in Jeddah, will become Manager Vietnam.
-
Mohammed Alqassim, now Country Manager for Cambodia, will take up the position of District Manager Jeddah.
-
Fahad Al Hassawi, District Manager for the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia, will assume the role of Country Manager Cambodia.
-
Sultan Bin Hadda will step into the position of Commercial Support Manager for the Eastern Province – KSA.
These leadership rotations are part of Emirates’ Outstation Programme, a flagship initiative designed to give UAE Nationals structured global exposure across the airline’s international network.
The programme provides immersive, rotational postings that enable participants to gain in-depth experience in diverse fields such as commercial management, cargo operations, and airport services. Alongside practical training, participants benefit from mentorship opportunities that build their strategic, operational, and leadership capabilities.
The Outstation Programme plays a vital role within the Emirates Group’s Emiratisation strategy, which aims to prepare UAE nationals for leadership roles across the organization. By combining world-class training with real-world experience, the initiative ensures that young Emiratis are equipped to guide the airline’s future growth and maintain its competitive edge in the global aviation industry.
