The Emirates Airline Foundation, in partnership with Emirates Auction, has successfully raised AED 8.8 million (USD 2.4 million) through the auction of seven rare Emirates Skywards Platinum memberships, supporting humanitarian programs for underprivileged children worldwide.
The month-long auction, held from 17 December 2025 to 17 January 2026, attracted over 900 bids from 131 countries. Two bidders won 20-year Platinum memberships, while five secured 15-year memberships, with the highest single bid reaching AED 1.6 million. Participants hailed from the UAE, UK, India, USA, Pakistan, France, Germany, Egypt, Thailand, and other nations.
Proceeds will fund new initiatives and strengthen existing programs in collaboration with 14 NGOs across nine countries, benefiting children in India, the Philippines, Brazil, Kenya, South Africa, Zimbabwe, and beyond.
