Emirates has launched its new Airbus A350 on flights between Dubai and Montréal, marking a milestone for the airline’s operations in Canada. The introduction of the A350 gives Canadian travellers the chance to experience Emirates’ highly acclaimed Premium Economy cabin for the first time.
Montréal is also the first city in Emirates’ 19-destination Americas network to welcome the airline’s latest aircraft type, offering a new level of comfort and design on the long-haul journey to Dubai.
The A350 replaces the Boeing 777 on the Montréal route, with daily flights operating as:
-
EK243: Departing Dubai at 02:45 hrs, arriving in Montréal at 07:35 hrs.
-
EK244: Departing Montréal at 10:40 hrs, arriving in Dubai at 08:00 hrs the next day.
The Airbus A350 joins Emirates’ Boeing 777 and Airbus A380 fleet that serves destinations across the Americas. Toronto, the airline’s other Canadian gateway, continues to be served daily by the flagship A380.
Inside the A350, travellers can expect higher ceilings, wider aisles, and a bright, open cabin designed to feel spacious and modern. Emirates has integrated advanced technology and ambient lighting to enhance the onboard experience, along with its award-winning entertainment system offering more than 6,500 channels in 50 languages, including French.
Emirates’ Premium Economy cabin sets a new standard for mid-tier travel, offering features that rival some airlines’ business class. Passengers can enjoy plush leather seats with generous recline, full leg rests, adjustable headrests, side cocktail tables, and a 13.3-inch 4K personal screen, along with built-in charging ports and elevated dining options.
The A350 is configured to seat 312 passengers across three cabins: 32 lie-flat Business Class seats in a 1-2-1 layout, 28 Premium Economy seats in a 2-3-2 configuration, and 238 Economy Class seats in a 3-3-3 layout.
In Business Class, seats are inspired by the Mercedes-Benz S-Class, offering 44 inches of pitch, 21 inches of width, and a 20-inch 4K screen. Passengers can also enjoy Bulgari amenity kits, gourmet dining with regionally inspired menus, and a wide selection of fine wines and beverages.
Economy Class travellers benefit from comfortable light-blue seats accented in bronze, with a seat pitch of 31–32 inches and a personal 13.3-inch 4K screen.
Across all cabins, passengers will notice quieter cabins, faster Wi-Fi, and improved lighting designed to create a relaxing atmosphere throughout the flight.
Thanks to Emirates’ partnership with Air Canada, travellers can easily connect from Montréal and Toronto to 37 additional destinations across Canada and the United States.
