Saudia has added Muscat, the capital of Oman, to its seasonal destination network, with flights from Riyadh scheduled to begin on October 27.
The airline will operate three weekly services between Riyadh and Muscat, giving travellers additional options for travel between Saudi Arabia and Oman. Tickets will be available through Saudia’s digital platforms, including its website and mobile applications.
The new route forms part of Saudia’s broader strategy to strengthen connections between the Kingdom and international markets while expanding its network in response to growing travel demand.
The airline is also continuing to develop and modernize its fleet, with the programme aimed at increasing flight operations and seat capacity while supporting the addition of new destinations and routes.
Saudia said its network expansion is being pursued alongside its fleet development programme to enhance operational capacity and increase flight frequencies.
The initiatives also support the objectives of the Aviation Program, which seeks to strengthen air connectivity and contribute to Saudi Arabia’s development as a global aviation hub.
