Saudi Arabia’s national flag carrier, Saudia, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with almatar to broaden travel options and enhance guest benefits through digital platforms and solutions.
The agreement was signed during WTM Spotlight Riyadh 2026 by Arved von zur Muehlen, Chief Commercial Officer at Saudia, and Faisal Alrajhi, Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of almatar.
The partnership is intended to simplify the booking process while giving travellers greater flexibility and a more integrated experience throughout their journeys.
Under the agreement, Saudia guests will be eligible for preferential fares and increased flexibility to modify or cancel bookings, subject to the applicable terms and conditions.
The companies said the enhanced services are designed to meet different travel requirements and support passengers across the full journey, from trip planning and booking through to arrival.
The partnership will also provide additional travel options to users of the Nusuk platform, including pilgrims travelling to Saudi Arabia. The initiative is aimed at supporting efforts to improve the pilgrimage experience through integrated digital services.
Saudia said the agreement forms part of its wider strategy of expanding access to services through strategic partnerships and digital solutions, giving guests greater choice and a more connected travel experience.
