Riyadh Air has announced the launch of ticket sales for two new international destinations, adding Málaga in Spain and Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia to its expanding route network.
The Saudi Arabia-based carrier, owned by the Public Investment Fund, is set to serve eight destinations from Riyadh by August as it continues to build its operations ahead of the delivery of its sixth aircraft. Its growing network will include London, Cairo, Dubai, Jeddah, Madrid, Manchester, Málaga, and Kuala Lumpur.
The airline will begin seasonal non-stop services to Málaga on July 14, with flights operating until September 8 to meet peak summer travel demand. It will then inaugurate its year-round non-stop route between Riyadh and Madrid on July 17.
According to the airline, the Madrid service is expected to strengthen both business and leisure travel between the Saudi and Spanish capitals. The route also reinforces Riyadh Air's partnership with Atlético Madrid through the Riyadh Air Metropolitano Stadium.
Riyadh Air will further expand its presence in Asia with the launch of year-round scheduled flights to Kuala Lumpur, beginning on July 30, providing passengers with direct connectivity between the Saudi capital and the Malaysian city.
