Jazeera Airways is expanding its Kuwait-Damascus operations to four daily flights from July 14, 2026, as demand for travel between the two countries continues to grow.
The Kuwaiti low-cost airline announced the increase while marking one year since it resumed flights to the Syrian capital in July 2025. During the past year, the carrier has transported more than 90,000 passengers on the route.
According to the airline, Damascus has become one of its busiest destinations, driven by strong demand from leisure travellers and those visiting friends and relatives (VFR).
The enhanced schedule, combined with three weekly flights to Aleppo, is expected to improve travel flexibility while providing passengers with easier onward connections through Jazeera Airways' expanding regional network.
Paul Carroll, Chief Commercial Officer of Jazeera Airways, said the milestone highlights the route's importance and the close links between Kuwait and Syria. He noted that the airline's decision to increase frequencies reflects sustained customer demand for dependable and affordable travel, while the additional services will offer greater choice and convenience for passengers travelling for family visits, business, and leisure.
The carrier said it remains focused on strengthening regional connectivity and delivering value-driven travel options across its network.
