Emirates has announced a temporary suspension of all flights to and from Dubai due to multiple regional airspace closures affecting flight operations across parts of the Middle East. The suspension will remain in effect until 1500 hrs UAE time on Monday, 2 March 2026.
The airline said it is working closely with aviation authorities to assess the evolving situation and resume operations as soon as conditions allow. Emirates reaffirmed that the safety of passengers, crew, and aircraft remains its top priority.
Passenger Options
Customers booked to travel on or before 5 March 2026 have two options:
-
Rebook: Travellers may rebook their flights to the same destination within 20 days of the original travel date. Those who purchased tickets via travel agents are advised to contact their agency directly, while customers who booked directly with Emirates can manage their bookings or rebook online via emirat.es/support.
-
Refund: Passengers preferring not to travel can request a full refund by submitting a form through emirat.es/refund. Tickets issued via travel agents should be processed through the respective agencies.
The airline strongly urges all travellers to check their flight status at emirat.es/flightstatus before proceeding to the airport.
Customer Support and Updates
Customers affected by cancellations should verify that their contact details are up to date at emirat.es/managebooking to receive real-time notifications and travel updates.
Emirates added that it is actively monitoring the situation and maintaining communication with all relevant regional authorities to ensure the safe resumption of operations.
The airline apologised for the inconvenience caused by the disruption and thanked customers for their patience and understanding during this period.
