Doha will host the first edition of ROBOTECH 26, an international exhibition dedicated to robotics and artificial intelligence technologies, from October 27 to 29, 2026, positioning the Qatari capital as a regional hub for emerging tech innovation.
The exhibition aligns with Qatar’s Digital Agenda 2030, highlighting the role of information technology and digital transformation in building a sustainable digital economy and strengthening long-term capabilities in AI, robotics, and advanced technologies.
The Qatar Chamber (QC) is the official sponsor of the event. Speaking at a press conference, Mohammed bin Ahmed Twar Al Kuwari, First Vice Chairman of QC and Vice-Chairman and General Secretary of the Qatar Business Council, said Qatar is witnessing rapid growth in its IT sector and ranks among the world’s top 20 countries in the 2025 Digital Competitiveness Index issued by the International Institute for Management Development (IMD).
He noted that QC’s support for ROBOTECH 26 forms part of its strategy to strengthen cooperation between the public and private sectors, adding that the Qatar Business Council will invite local companies and entrepreneurs to take part in the conference held alongside the exhibition, including panel discussions and dialogue sessions.
The exhibition is expected to attract leading international companies specialising in AI and robotics across a wide range of sectors, including healthcare, smart transportation, logistics, education, cybersecurity, food security, fintech, industrial technologies, smart cities, environmental protection, and airport services.
Haitham Shehab, General Manager of Stallion, the organising company, said ROBOTECH 26 is designed to serve as a key platform for discovering cutting-edge technologies and fostering public-private partnerships in high-growth technology sectors. The event will span 15,000 square metres, allowing for extensive international participation.
Exhibition Manager Ling Li said the showcase will feature innovations in smart manufacturing, industrial automation, and industrial robotics, as well as medical and surgical robots, AI-driven disease diagnosis, medical data analysis, and service robots used in logistics, urban services, and airports.
Additional focus areas will include AI-powered traffic management and smart city planning, AI-based education and personalised learning systems, cybersecurity and smart surveillance, AI and robotics in food security and advanced agriculture, financial technologies, and solutions aimed at environmental sustainability.
Meanwhile, Ali Bu Sherbak Al Mansori, Acting General Manager of QC, said the Chamber views innovation and artificial intelligence as major economic drivers, describing the exhibition as an important opportunity for Qatari and international companies to form partnerships and conclude business deals in these rapidly expanding fields.
