Qatar Airways has confirmed the resumption of scheduled passenger flights between Doha and several major Middle Eastern destinations, restoring daily connections with cities in the United Arab Emirates and Syria.
Effective April 23, 2026, the airline will operate daily services from Doha to Dubai (DXB) and Sharjah (SHJ). Daily flights to Damascus (DAM) are set to restart on May 1, 2026.
The renewed services are part of a broader, phased effort to rebuild the carrier’s international network. Earlier in April, the airline outlined plans to significantly scale up operations from June 16, 2026, with its route map expected to exceed 150 destinations across six continents.
Passengers have been encouraged to stay informed by checking the airline’s website or mobile application and ensuring their contact details are accurate for receiving updates.
Customers holding confirmed bookings for travel between February 28 and September 15, 2026, are eligible for flexible travel arrangements. These include the option to change travel dates without additional charges up to October 31, 2026, subject to seat availability and fare conditions. Travellers affected by disruptions may also make further fee-free adjustments within the same timeframe. Refunds for unused tickets are available, though processing times may extend to 28 working days.
The airline noted that flight schedules remain subject to change or cancellation due to operational, regulatory, safety, or other unforeseen factors.
