Ras Al Khaimah, UAE — Air Arabia, the Middle East and North Africa’s largest low-cost carrier, has inaugurated its first direct flight connecting Ras Al Khaimah with Yekaterinburg, Russia. The new weekly service marks another milestone in the airline’s expansion strategy from its Ras Al Khaimah hub, further enhancing travel links between the UAE and Russia.
According to the airline, Flight G9 856 departs Ras Al Khaimah every Monday at 6:55 p.m., arriving in Yekaterinburg at 12:50 a.m. the following day. The return flight, G9 857, leaves Yekaterinburg on Tuesdays at 1:40 a.m., landing in Ras Al Khaimah at 5:45 a.m.
Adel Al Ali, Group Chief Executive Officer of Air Arabia, said the launch underscores the carrier’s ongoing commitment to affordable travel and regional connectivity.
The commencement of our new service to Yekaterinburg marks another step in expanding Air Arabia’s growing network from Ras Al Khaimah,” Al Ali said. “This new route reinforces our commitment to offering our customers affordable and seamless connectivity while supporting both tourism and trade between the UAE and Russia.
The new destination joins Air Arabia’s existing direct flights from Ras Al Khaimah to Moscow, offering travelers more options for business and leisure.
Air Arabia operates a modern fleet of single-aisle aircraft, offering generous legroom and equipped with ‘SkyTime,’ a free in-flight streaming service, as well as an onboard ‘SkyCafe’ menu with a variety of meals and snacks.
Tickets for the new Ras Al Khaimah–Yekaterinburg route are now available through Air Arabia’s website, call center, and authorized travel agencies.
