Flynas, the leading low-cost airline in the Middle East, has launched direct flights between Jeddah and Moscow, marking a significant milestone in its expansion efforts. Effective from December 23, the new route enhances air connectivity between Saudi Arabia and Russia, in collaboration with the Saudi Tourism Authority and the Air Connectivity Program.
The inauguration of the new route was celebrated at both King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah and Vnukovo International Airport in Moscow, with passengers on the inaugural flight receiving commemorative gifts. An official reception ceremony was held upon the aircraft's arrival at Vnukovo Airport, attended by representatives from the Embassy of Saudi Arabia in Moscow, flynas, the Russian Tourism Authority, and Vnukovo Airport.
Flynas will operate three weekly flights between Jeddah and Moscow, making it the first Saudi airline to offer scheduled services on this route. This launch follows the introduction of the first direct flights between Riyadh and Moscow in August, which operate four times a week. Flynas is committed to expanding its network to provide reliable and convenient travel options for its customers, strengthening diplomatic and economic relations between Saudi Arabia and Russia.
This expansion is a key component of flynas’ “We Connect the World to the Kingdom” growth strategy, aligning with Saudi Arabia's National Civil Aviation Strategy. This strategy aims to connect Saudi Arabia with 250 international destinations, accommodate 330 million passengers, and welcome 150 million tourists annually by 2030. Additionally, the expansion supports the Pilgrims Experience Program (PEP), which facilitates access to the Two Holy Mosques for Muslim travelers.
Flynas passengers can book flights through the airline’s website, mobile app, call center (920001234), or travel agents, making it easier for travelers to access this new and convenient route between Saudi Arabia and Russia.
