Emirates has introduced its celebrated Premium Economy cabin on flights EK376/377 between Dubai and Bangkok, marking another milestone in the airline’s mission to redefine comfort in the skies. Operated by the newly retrofitted Airbus A380, the service represents a significant investment in enhancing travel experiences for passengers flying to and from Thailand and beyond.
With Bangkok now part of Emirates’ 70-plus Premium Economy destinations, travellers can enjoy an experience that bridges the gap between Economy and Business Class. The new cabin, located at the front of the main deck, features 56 spacious seats arranged in a 2-4-2 layout.
Each seat offers a 40-inch pitch, 8-inch recline, adjustable headrests, and full leg and footrests, ensuring a superior level of comfort. The luxurious cream leather upholstery and woodgrain dining tables add a refined touch, while passengers can enjoy entertainment on 13.3-inch HD screens with Bluetooth connectivity.
Dining in Premium Economy is elevated with regionally inspired menus served on Royal Doulton china, paired with a curated beverage list that includes premium vintage wines.
Emirates’ massive aircraft retrofit programme—one of the largest in aviation history—will see 219 A380s and Boeing 777s fully refurbished. By the end of 2025, the airline expects to offer nearly 2 million Premium Economy seats annually, doubling that figure by 2026.
Passengers travelling from Bangkok can seamlessly connect via Dubai to major Premium Economy routes such as New York, London, and Lyon, with added benefits like a 35kg check-in baggage allowance and 10kg hand baggage.
Customers can book the new Premium Economy experience through emirates.com, the Emirates App, Emirates World in Bangkok, or authorised travel agents.
